What I like the most is that the manufacturers have claimed that the internals are made of Seasonic. I often struggle to find PC components that are not too pricey or cheap because you must be lucky to stumble upon a pick that is in the mid-range category and still performs the best.

I didn’t like how the installation part was a bit flimsy for me. In my case, getting this PSU and its cables was a hassle. I didn’t like how the cables were cheaply made like I am paying a premium price and the cables are still flimsy. After a hard work of 2 hours, I put this PSU into use.

I absolutely loved that this PSU came with added DSP and CAM support. I utilized the software to look at the fan curve, temperatures, and profiles. I am happy how Seasonic has worked with NZXT to create a masterpiece.

Now comes the test that we all wait for, which is the noise test. So the PSU was running all okay and didn’t have any noise when the PC was idle. However, under load, this PSU got so loud that it was unbearable for me.

The NZXT E500 is good because it has a simple setup along with a solid power supply. However, remember this one gets a bit loud when running under high load, but if you are okay with that, this provides a solid performance.

The EVGA SuperNOVA P2 650 is one of the best value PSUs for 3700x. It is an excellent option that is well designed and can handle even the most demanding gaming machines.

I never support overspending on computer parts, but when it comes to power supplies, I think you get what you pay for. And because the EVGA Supernova is the best premium PSU for the 3080 for this reason, I would advise you guys to buy it if you have some extra cash saved up.

Okay, let’s start with how it appears overall. The PSU has a black matt finish, which I initially found to be kind of appealing. Additionally, I think the construction is stout and will hold up for me for a long time.

The length of the cables was the next aspect I adored. Since this PSU is completely modular, the included cables are absurdly long. And from what I can tell, they can run as long as your PC case does. But some users might not have enough space to accommodate such long cables, which could be a drawback.

Having said that, even though the cables are long, the main PSU cable isn’t as long as I would have liked. For example, setting up the entire setup to the power source was difficult, and that part was a bit hectic.

Additionally, I don’t believe any of you would need to go out and buy cables separately because it comes with a ton of cables. Furthermore, I liked how the cables were arranged in a wrapped mesh.

Furthermore, everyone had access to labels for all the cables, so I doubt anyone would have trouble organizing them. I set up the entire setup in about two hours, and the fit and finish could not have been better.

I then tried using this one in several tests. To see if it reports any failures or not, I first tried gaming over this one. Surprisingly, there was absolutely nothing to complain about.

Also, there were no odd noises made during the operation. Power supplies typically make a lot of noise, but this one was quiet even when operating at full capacity.

There were only two minor issues with this power supply that I could find fault with. One thing is that the power source cable and cord could have been made a little bit longer and of higher quality by the manufacturers.

I can get the same performance with the Corsair RM750x, so why should I spend an additional $100 on this, you guys. Like I should have a good reason for spending an additional $100 on this power supply.

There is not much to talk about the aesthetics here because they are all simple and back, as Seasonic always does. They do not value visuals but ensure the best performance possible.

Installation was quick and simple. I had no issue putting this one up in my PC case. And I guess this is all due to the modularity of the cables. This also made the cables remain sturdy and organized. And a plus point here was that it came with cable ties, so I had a very easy time winding everything up.

Now, as we are talking about the cables, let me tell you some drawbacks. First, the cable sleeves aren’t something I actually liked. It was made of a flimsy material which annoyed me. Also, the cable length was short. Thank god I had another PC case I could get with that.

Additionally, I loved how the PSU remained quiet. Even under load, I had nothing to worry about noise. But guys, when I had this PSU under extreme load, it made some weird fighter jet noises which was a huge turn-off. But then again, guys, the performance is premium. I don’t mind compromising over the noise part.

The Seasonic Prime PX-1000 is a good choice for those who want a powerful power supply with decent wattage. I found the cable length a bit short, but that isn’t much hard to adjust. Also, the noise level was pretty high under extreme load, but the performance was worth the hassle!

The testing phase was currently the most crucial. I tested it by rendering videos and playing games, and the PSU continued to function without any reported crashes. Everyone detests it when their PSU fails while gaming, but with this particular one, I really enjoyed myself.

I tested the noise component last but not least. Guys, I am not purchasing another PSU that makes a noise similar to a fighter jet. To cut a long story short, this PSU’s noise level was extremely low. Although it isn’t completely silent, the noise didn’t bother you.

You guys must be wondering what this power supply’s drawbacks are. So, besides the cost, this power supply doesn’t seem to have any drawbacks. Even so, the cost is reasonable because it serves as a power source, and I don’t believe we should cut corners here. However, some of my colleagues might consider this a high-end PSU.

The Corsair RMX series RM750x is a wonderful powerful supply with up to 75o wattage. However, the price is a bit high but you can expect to pay this for a powerful power supply.

This PSU performs well under pressure. There is no issue gaming or performing demanding computing tasks, but I specifically looked for this item because I wanted a silent PC build.

The PSU makes an abrupt Swirling sound when the PC begins to work while it is idle. Throughout the day, this incident occurs repeatedly. Incredibly annoying. According to some Reddit forums that I’ve read, there is no way to avoid it. This is much worse than some low humming, in my opinion.

It is a good power supply unit to power your computer; it is important to note that it is a medium-performance power supply unit that successfully feeds your computer as long as you calculate the energy-intensive components.

Although it is made of high-quality materials, the cable is very thick and makes it difficult to move around inside the cabinet, especially for models with 24 pins for the mother and 4+4 pins for the processor (CPU).

It is unquestionably a good power supply, but take care—even if you have extra power—I do not advise using it to aggressively overclock your CPU or GPU. Under heavy load, this PSU can get extremely hot and can even burn out.

The Cooler Master MasterWatt is a decent PSU of mid-range price. It has a lot of praiseworthy features. But remember, it might get hot at times. A good cooler along this PSU will do that.

It has a clean, minimalist cable design, which I found appealing. There are as many cables included that are designed to fit into the ports on this PSU. The ASUS Toughpower GF1 stands out from many other PSUs on the market thanks to Smart Zero Fan.

This particular fan can only operate when the load exceeds 30%. Sounds fantastic! Fortunately, this causes the PSU to operate quietly without making any unnecessary noises. Unfortunately, after about 8 hours of intense gaming, the PSU started running a little hot and made strange noises.

WHY YOU SHOULD CHOOSE THIS PSU?

I cannot think of a single drawback for this PSU. Its modularity, potent performance, and small size make it ideal. It is, therefore, the best 3080 compact PSU. There were some issues with the cable organization, but everything was fine. Guys, remember that this one can get a little hot when under a heavy load.
