Talking about the best CPU coolers and forgetting to mention the NZXT KRAKEN X73 is impossible. I have reviewed several of the X and Z series from the NZXT, and now I wanted to try something I never had my hands on.

So, the X73 has this perfect design that features an e-designed cap, and a larger infinity mirror ring LED. It allows you to customize the pump head’s orientation to fit without affecting the logo’s direction. With a 10% larger infinity mirror cap, you will have a more vivid RGB; this is the CPU cooler to get if you are looking for aesthetics.

Okay, so inside the box, I found a manual and installation guide that would help put this CPU cooler to work. As obvious, you can see from the pictures that this CPU cooler has a three-fan design with 120mm PWM fans. Additionally, with this one, you have a lot of gear for mounting, even for AMD and Intel users.

NZXT always ensures that they provide top-notch products to their users. For this purpose, they have included a three-way fan splitter, a breakout cable, a SATA connector, a micro USB power cable, and a cool AIO unit.

If you have already seen previous CPU coolers for this generation, you would know how similar the X73 is to them. However, one obvious change I encountered was the extravagantly designed infinity mirror that is rotatable and much larger than the last generation.

Also, the water pump here isn’t much visible but let me tell you one thing about this. The cooling effect here is much more effective than in the previous ones. Also, the RPM here is enhanced, ranging between 800-2800 RPM. Now the older generations here had an RPM of 1600-2800 on the X72.

I am a bit concerned that the water block is huge like I don’t know where to place this thing. The radiator here is 394mm long, 121mm wide, and 27mm thick. Made of aluminum, I hope it will be among the most powerful CPU coolers for Ryzen 53600.

Now talking about the tubes that connect the radiator to the water block, these are 400mm long and are manufactured using ultra-low evaporation rubber. The nylon sleeve over here gives these tubes an extra layer of protection. The fans here are 120mm PWM fans with a speed of 500 to 200 rpm and an airflow of 73 cfm.

In terms of installation, I had zero issues with that because it was straightforward to understand. Thanks to the manual that comes along with this one actually made my time easier and quicker.

Now let’s jump onto the benchmarks and see whether this CPU cooler will outperform. So at first, I tried adjusting the pump to 25% while the ambient temperature of my system here was 22 degrees Celsius.

Here the temperature was 74 degrees Celsius at 25% fan speed. I then tried running this one at 50% fan speed, so the temperature was 73 degrees Celsius. Lastly, I tried running this CPU cooler at 100% fan speed; the temperature obtained here was 72 degrees Celsius.

Next, I tried altering the pump speed to 50%, and at 25% fan speed, the temperature here was 65 degrees Celsius. Whereas at 50% fan speed was 63 degrees Celsius, and at 100% fan speed, it was 62 degrees Celsius. And from this, I got an idea that it is not viable to run the pump speed below 50% to get efficient cooling.

I also tried turning the pump speed up to 75%, and at 25% fan speed, the temperature was 62 degrees Celsius. While at 50% fan speed, the temperature was 61 degrees Celsius; at 100% fan speed, the temperature was 60 degrees Celsius.

Now hold onto your seats as I reveal the coolest CPU cooler ever! As the pump speed was altered to 100%, the X73 gave some of the most effective results. Here at 25% fan speed, the temperature was 61 degrees Celsius; at 50% fan speed, it was 58 degrees Celsius; lastly, at 100% fan speed, the temperature was 57 degrees Celsius.

Now coming towards the noise levels here, so at 25 to 75% pump speed, the sound produced is tolerable and isn’t much audible. And as soon as the pump speed is above the 75% mark, the noise becomes noticeable and is not something you would want to hear.

For the fans, even at 25%, the noise was horrible, like this buzzing kind of sound. Overall, the noise and cooling efficiency balance were perfect when I had the pump at 75% and the speed at 25 to 35%.

Now one thing I noticed here was that this CPU cooler and the previous one are somehow the same, but the difference lies in the black aesthetics. Also, here I am going to give you a quick overview of the NH-U12S and how it would perform while playing the most-modern day games.

First of all, this is a single tower design CPU cooler, which is normal with air CPU coolers. Also, I guess this is on budget compared to another CPU cooler, so you can expect it to have a single fan tower design. Because guys, I consider that dual fan design is most common in high-end CPU coolers.

Even though this CPU cooler is under $50, it has a rock-solid quality that is reliable and strong enough to last you long. Overall I am impressed with the aesthetics and the black build that perfectly goes along with my PC build.

Now let me share some more important specs about this CPU cooler: the heat pipes. The picture shows that it has these five heat pipes, each having a 6mm diameter. These heat pipes are also made of nickel-plated copper.

Moreover, the base of these heat pipes is even, and the reflection is just like minerals. And I guess the thermal compound here would be easier to paste on. I will share that experience with you in the installation part.

The fan in this CPU cooler is Noctua’s NF-F12 120mm focused flow fan with a variable RPM. The speed can range between 300 rpm to 1500 rpm and has some rubber pads along with the corners that would help prevent unnecessary vibrations.

Now let’s start with the testing part; first, I would like to share with you the noise level the NH-U12S Chromax has. I tried having the fan run at its maximum rpm, that is 1500 rpm, and the sound in decibels was 39db. However, guys, I didn’t notice any unusual or disturbing noise here.

I have been asked to review the best mid-range CPU cooler for the Ryzen 5 3600 overclocked system, so I thought, why not give the NH-U12S a try. So when I tried running this CPU cooler on my Ryzen 5 3600 at an ambient temperature of 26 degrees Celsius under full load, the temperature here was 61 degrees Celsius for the overclocked system and 54 degrees Celsius at stock settings.

If I talk about the H115i RGB, guys, this CPU cooler by Corsair is a portable fridge for your system. It is among the best 280mm CPU coolers for Ryzen 5 3600. Of course, it is Expensive, But I won’t lie here that the performance here is actually worth every penny. It is popular among gamers, content writers, and digital content creators. Hence, I thought, why not review this one for you all.

First of all, I will tell you guys I am not a huge fan of RGB, and I often prefer better performance than aesthetics, but this one has some sick RGB all over it. This one has a complete package from RGB lighting to well-optimized fans for quiet operation. It comes with a 280 mm radiator that provides quiet and efficient cooling. RGB LED pump heads and dual low-noise 140mm fans also help dissipate heat more quickly.

Now I am using the previous generation from Corsair. Still, the pump is much smaller with the new CPU cooler, and you can easily adjust the RGB the way you want. Also, I like that the pump is very easy to use and would require no additional bolts or screws to get installed.

Another thing I came across was that the tubing on this new CPU cooler is thinner than the previous generation coolers. However, I don’t think it would affect the performance in any adverse way, at least I guess.

I liked that these tubings are attached to the pump in a 360 degrees rotation design. And I am sure this sort of setup will help you put up the CPU cooler in a better way without getting entangled in cables and wires.

The radiator is made of aluminum, and I guess it can support two 140mm fans. Additionally, this radiator’s thickness is 27mm thick and has 140mm fans. For the speed part, that can actually range from 400 to 2200 RPM. Manufacturers claim this can push around 55 CFM of air per minute.

I noticed that this CPU cooler fan will make some obvious noises for the noise part. I guess it would be 32db, and the sound became even louder when the fans were running at 2000 RPM.

Next, I tried running a temperature test, so I tried with an overclocked system. At 950 RPM in the idle state, the temperature was 33 degrees Celsius. At 1700 RPM, the temperature for gaming was 59 degrees Celsius. While I also tried testing under load at 1700 RPM, the temperature was 73 degrees Celsius. This one literally has got some awesome cooling performance.

Apart from RGB lighting, the software allows you to adjust the fan speed and reset it even when the CPU is not under heavy load to reduce noise. Weighing 4 pounds is a bit heavier than other products on the list. But the robust performance it provides makes it completely worth it.

You guys would already have guessed that I am a huge fan of Corsair, as I am back with another amazing product by them. The Corsair Hydro Series H100i is the best high-end water CPU cooler for Ryzen 5 3600‎ that I recently came across. The design here is pretty simple yet has these dynamic RGB lighting that any pc enthusiast would love.

Let me share all the amazing stuff this one comes with. So you get a lot of useful mounting gear here: some AMD and intel brackets and handy-dandy manuals. Additionally, in the package, you get two 120mm fans with this aesthetic look.

Next, the radiator here is 240mm and comes with a standard width that would fit into any pc case without any issue. The pump has this corsair logo, and I think this is a bit more huge than other corsair pumps. The logo here can be lightened up using the RGB system this CPU cooler has.

Thermal paste here comes pre-applied, and I would advise you to get this off of the CPU cooler because it is applied in a very thick amount. If you do not clean It before, chances are that you might have to go through a lot of mess. The quality of the thermal paste is good, too, but I guess the amount is considerable.

It has a 75 CFM air flow that is more than enough to provide a cooling effect to your system. It reduces the temperature rise in a snap no matter how heavy your system’s load is. This airflow dissipates heat and maintains your system in the coolest state.

The fans of this cooler are powered by magnetic levitation. These are two in number and belong to the 120 mm ML series PWM fans. They can deliver outstanding airflow while keeping the pressure static. It works on a maximum of 2,400 RPM for complete and quiet cooling.

The cooler comes with the Corsair iCUE software. It allows you to customize each fan’s RGB lighting and fan speeds. It also monitors the pump speed along with CPU performance. It also has a Zero RPM mode. This mode allows the fans to stop when the temperature is low.

Now, in terms of installation, I didn’t have any issues like it was simple. However, the mounting brackets were a hassle at first. I had to take around an hour to mount this CPU cooler in the right position.

Let’s start with the benchmarks; I first tried running the Corsair H100i at default settings. At idle state, the temperature was 25 degrees Celsius; under load, it was 62 degrees Celsius. The ambient temperature here was 20 degrees Celsius.

Then I tried having the Corsair H100i at a quiet fan setting. The temperature was no major difference compared to the cooler at default settings. Finally, I tried setting up the cooler at the maximum, and I noticed that the temperature here dropped down some 2 to 3 degrees Celsius lower. This might not be huge for overclockers, but it still performs decently.

I also have this Corsair Hydro Series H100 and wanted to compare the temperatures and whether they are similar. So turns out both of the CPU coolers gave me the same temperature, and there was not much difference.

Now the most awaited results were of the overclocked system that actually made me happy somehow. So I overclocked the system at 4.6GHz, and the temperature here at idle state was 35 degrees Celsius. In comparison, under load, it was 72 degrees Celsius. Also, I didn’t like the grinding noise of these fans. It was indeed exhausting for me to cope with them.

But guys, if I would give you my two cents over the Corsair H100i, I would suggest going for the Corsair H100 because it costs less and is affordable too. I would literally not mind saving some money and getting myself a CPU cooler from a previous generation that can still deliver some robust performance.

One of my favorite CPU coolers is the arctic freezer 34 eSports Duo. Because this CPU cooler for Ryzen 5 3600 under $50 has some awesome reviews by some renowned gamers, I wanted to review whether it is worth the purchase or not. I found this CPU cooler is one of a kind in itself. I am assuming it would have this awesome heat dissipation system. Fortunately, the evenly spread direct-touch heat pipes and 54 cooling fins heat sink design give this CPU cooler an ideal performance.

The CPU cooler has some awesome colors that I love, and here, I preferred to get the red one because I plan to have that red devil theme for my pc build. It is this single tower CPU cooler, and I guess the design is steady enough to work for any build, but I will leave that part for the benchmarks.

Now, here I would also remind you guys that this Arctic freezer 34 eSports Duo is just a revision of the original arctic freezer 34. Frankly speaking, the new version has this two fan design; another major difference is that on the original Arctic freezer 34, you will find an anodized aluminum heatsink. In contrast, the 34 duo has the same slim tower design but is wide.

If I talk about the Arctic freezer 50, I would say it was a complete flop because of the uneven design. But let’s not lose track and stay on the arctic freezer 34 duos. The cooler is compatible with almost any build and will not restrict RAM as it’s 124mm wide and 157mm tall.

With this CPU cooler, we get to have two of Arctic’s 120mm bionic P fans. Advertisers have mentioned that these fans are designed to maintain a good static pressure while minimizing the noise. I will show you whether it was able to withstand the claims or not.

Additionally, these fans can range from 200 to 2100 RPM; with the pads at the front, I guess we would be able to reduce unnecessary vibrations. The installation part is very easy, and the mounting gear and this CPU cooler made it easier for me to put this into work.

Let’s jump onto the benchmarks. First, I started off with a 68-watt heat load and normalized the fan speed here so I won’t have to go through any abnormal noise. The temperature here at idle was only 9 degrees Celsius while it was 38 degrees Celsius for the load.

In contrast, I also have this Noctua NH-P1, which I tried to compare with the 34 duo one as both are priced similarly. The temperature here was 15 degrees Celsius at idle state, while it was 64 degrees Celsius under load.

Next, I tried the CPU cooler running at 100% fan speed at 68 watts; the temperature here at idle state was 8 degrees Celsius, while it was 36 degrees Celsius for the under load. However, Scythe Fuma 2 comes at the top in efficient heat dissipation. The noise here is less audible than the arctic freezer duo 34.

My final thoughts would be that the Arctic freezer is a good value CPU cooler; however, I won’t recommend getting this one for running under 130 or 120 watts. I would also not advise you to have this one for an overclocked system because it isn’t able to get that far. But overall, for a decent performance, it is a good CPU cooler under $50.

If you have some extra money saved and it is a burning hole in your pocket, you can get the EVGA CLC280 as it is one of the best high-end AO CPU coolers for Ryzen 5 3600. Additionally, if it is priced at the high end, I guess it comes with an advanced cooling block design. Manufacturers have advertised that this cooling block improves the flow rate and provides an improved heat transfer surface area. As you all know, I am not a huge fan of RGB, but I do conclude that part for some of the followers that are fond of building flashy PC cases.

The RGB LED built into this cooler gives you complete control over the lighting, including color cycling, or you can choose your favorite color. You can also save the color profiles onto the firmware!

Now for the size, I am guessing that this liquid cooler would work the best with your Ryzen 5 3600 processor. It has a compact size, and with all the perfect features, it’s definitely worth a shot. It idles at 4.6 degrees and reaches a maximum of 32.86 degrees; even if you work continuously, at least this is advertised.

So here we get a 280mm radiator with this CPU cooler and handy mounting gadgets and brackets for AMD and Intel users. Here I would also say that if you can’t accommodate a huge radiator in your PC case, then you can get the EVGA CLC 120mm, which is a decent CPU cooler for small builds.

Regarding pricing, I found the EVGA CLC 280mm lying just between the H110i GT and NZXT X62. Stay tuned for the performance part, as I will share some important benchmarks with you.

As the price is premium, the EVGA has ensured to work on aesthetics and build-up. They have this premium-built block that I guess would be as efficient as claimed. The firm nylon tubing that comes with the CPU cooler is what I loved the most, and I guess it would make the installation process much easier.

Additionally, I loved this water cooler because the water inlets are located on the top instead of the sides. This I am sure will help in the reduction of noise as well as water pressure. And for those RGB lovers, this pump block offers this fancy EVGA logo and some beautiful lightning.

Also, the USB header comes with the thermal paste pre-applied at the bottom. The cooler has 140mm fans, and the design here is slightly modified compared to the previous CPU coolers. Additionally, the fans here are known to rotate up to 2200 rpm, which is great, but only benchmarks would decide whether they can withstand the test or not.

I didn’t have any issue with the installation part, and it was relatively easy to mount this one. Other than that, my case had a lot of space to accommodate this one and didn’t hinder any of the components. But again, I would always ask you guys to measure the space you have before making any purchase.

I first tried running the CPU cooler at 1250 RPM for the benchmarks while my system was overclocked. The temperature here was 75 degrees Celsius with the CLC 280. Here the NZXT X62 delivered a much better temperature of 65 degrees Celsius than the CLC 280.

Next, I tried running the fan at 2000 RPM, and the temperature with CLC 280 was 62 degrees Celsius, while with the X62 one, it was 55 degrees Celsius. Now for the noise part, the CLC 280 has a 33dB at 1250 RPM and is dead quiet. However, the X62 here was a bit louder than the CLC 280. Overall, I am satisfied with the noise part and have no issue with it.

It is easy to install and has an exceptional rotational speed to cool your system down quickly. However, keep in mind that these fans aren’t effective at low RPMs; other than that, for the price, this performance goes well.

Because it is both silent and compatible simultaneously and because it is the best value CPU cooler for Ryzen 5 3600, Fuma 2 stands out above other CPU coolers. Even though it has several unusual fan configurations that I could only discover in expensive CPU coolers, it is one of the finest CPU coolers.

Even though my PC case is still somewhat small, the 155mm-tall CPU cooler fits flawlessly. Again, as always, I advise everyone to measure the PC case accurately before acquiring any components. This design contains 6 Heatpipes, which I assume will be effective at quickly dissipating heat, and I adore it.

Let’s move on to the benchmarks. The temperature was 50 degrees Celsius when the computer was idle, 72 degrees Celsius when it was gaming, and 78.4 degrees Celsius when it was under high strain. Okay, I also compared the performance of the Fuma 2 and the NH-U12 A from Noctua. Except for the premium price you will pay for the Noctua model, they are all identical.

Why not save money by purchasing the Fuma 2, which offers comparable performance to high-end CPU coolers while reasonably priced? Without a doubt, I’m going for this guy!

But, gentlemen, there’s a downer. Even though this CPU cooler is renowned for its performance, I have serious doubts about whether or not it will be able to support overclocked systems. I have serious concerns about its performance for overclocked systems, primarily due to its tiny size.

Guys, let’s talk about the noise. This is completely silent, and I didn’t overhear a single buzz. With the Fuma 2, there wasn’t even a buzzing sound; Now, when I think back to that time, even though the Noctua NH-U12A had this audible noise, I would argue that it was not that silent. Definitely bringing this beast home with me!
