When I am talking about some of the best budget CPU coolers for Ryzen, I can never leave the Cooler Master Hyper behind. It gives some top-notch performance while working over fin optimizations. You can choose between low and high speeds, whatever suits you.

Size-wise, it is 120mm wide and 158.5mm high, and 77mm deep; here, I would not claim that this is one compact cooling system. Because guys, this cooler is actually huge. The fans have a max rpm of 2000 and are basic with no RGB or any other fancy stuff.

What I loved the most about this one is that this CPU cooler comes with a unique PWM fan. These PWM fans are wide and come with a unique wave shape blade design. As advertised, this one-of-a-kind fin design helps to aid in excellent airflow regulation.

Users have reported that this cooler helps dissipate heat quicker than typical coolers. Now let me get onto the design this cooler has. For the fins part, they are made of aluminum and come with around 4 direct contact heat pipes.

I am sure this will ensure a surface-to-surface heat transfer dissipation making the system cool down in no time. Now let’s get to the noise part because this is the part where I have lost respect for a lot of coolers.

Manufacturers have mentioned that this cooler has a fan noise level of 36db; it doesn’t seem loud enough to disturb you all the time. I hope it will have this quiet humming noise that will not bother you while playing games or rendering videos. But I will keep this part for the benchmarking to get definite results.

Talking about the installation, it was a bit of a hassle. You must be careful while mounting this cooler because one wrong placement and boom, your motherboard might get damaged.

So without wasting any further time, let’s get to see how this cooler performs through tests and trials. First, I tried my system with a 95W load; here, the system was giving a better temperature curve than the Hyper 212 Black.

Now at 125W load, the Hyper 212 EVO has a considerable reduction in temperature as compared to the Hyper 212 Black again. With the 212 EVO having a temperature less than 75 degrees Celsius the 212 Black remained at 78 degrees Celsius.

But as the Hyper 212 EVO has a powerful cooling system, it eventually means that the noise level would be considered too. At this point, the Hyper 212 Evo had a noise level of up to 38 dB. Now, if I compare the results of this cooling system to the Noctua NH-U12S, you might notice a much cooler temperature than the latter.

However, here I would remind you that the Noctua is a high-end CPU cooler; by no means could we compare it to the Hyper 212 EVO. The 212 EVO indeed provides fantastic performance, but it is not just like those high-end coolers.

I loved the affordable price and the efficient cooling, but I totally hate the installation process with this one. Here I actually sliced my fingers while mounting this in my CPU.

WHY YOU SHOULD CHOOSE THIS CPU COOLER?

Because of the continuous, direct technology of the heated pipes, it gets rid of heat much more quickly than other ordinary CPU coolers. However, be careful while installing, as I literally slashed my fingers while mounting this one. Also, as I always suggest, please do measure the space available to you before purchasing any sort of component. This cooler is a bit bulky, so I am in doubt whether it would fit into every system or not.

NZXT Kraken X73 360mm

NZXT has always been there to produce some high-tech gadgets, and the Kraken X73, a 360mm CPU cooler, is not an exception. The NZXT Kraken is the best high-end Ryzen cooler not only because of its superior performance but also because of its sophisticated look and premium price tag.

Let’s talk about the design first. I have been the most excited for this one to arrive because the design over here looks promising performance-wise. It comes with a beautiful dark design, along with a cap and a large infinity mirror ring as a bonus.

Now I am not much into RGB or building those flashy gaming rigs, but here I am, actually like the LED ring this cooler has. This ring has a customizable LED that you can customize according to your system’s build-up aesthetics. And surprisingly, this mirror cap provides about 10% larger mirror cap and some cool and vivid RGB.

In terms of specs, I see here some vast improvements from the previous generation coolers by the NZXT.

First, I found the ring really easy to maneuver the RGB according to your preferences.

Secondly, I am totally overwhelmed by the upgraded 7th generation ASA tech pump. This pump actually promises efficient cooling without making much noise. Also, the RPM levels with this NZXT are far better than the previous X72 with 1,600-2,800 RPM. Whereas the X73 actually has 800-2,800 RPM.

Here I would also like to highlight the NZXT uses with its cooling system: the rubber tubing is covered all over with nylon and is skinny in nature. And another great thing is that the tubing is 400mm long, so there will be no issue about managing this one along with other IOs coolers.

Now coming towards the radiator, it is 360 mm rad and 30mm thick, made of aluminum with plenty of room for effective cooling. Here it also comes with a set of screws, but I would also add here to not use any other extra screws from outside. And if you are planning to do so, make sure to be careful and do not leak the radiator.

You can easily tune out the performance on your Kraken because it has a complete Full CAM integration system. Along with this, the AER P Radiator fans provide the most astounding operation while acting over the features of chamfered air.

Now let’s get onto the benchmarks and check whether this one can perform up to the mark or not. So at first, I tried with 100% pump speed. Even when the fan speed was 40%, the temperature was 51 degrees Celsius, and the noise level was 39.5 dBA which I didn’t have any issue with.

Next, I tried with 80% fan speed, so the temperature here was 49 degrees Celsius; however, the noise was high-pitched and loud with 51 dBA. Lastly, with 100% fan speed, the temperature was 48 degrees Celsius with a noise level of 55 dBA.

At 50% pump speed, the pump had zero noise, and I loved the results over here. However, guys, the fans aren’t dead silent even if the pump has a silent operation. While at high fan speeds, I was literally horrified with the weird noises this one’s fan was making.

Now, if you already have the X72, I won’t suggest you go for the X73 because you wouldn’t notice any significant change. Other than that, X73 is a good upgrade

As its name says, be quiet! It is just what it is! I am shocked at how quiet this CPU cooler was. There was no way it had made even a humming noise even though I tried it running over high speeds while playing intensive games and rendering videos on Ryzen 7. Due to this, I declare this cooler the best air cooler for Ryzen 7.

The Dark Rock Pro 4 has around 7 heat pipes and is a dual tower cooler. As advertised, the cooler can withstand up to 250 watts TDP. Now I want to confess that this cooler is not something I would suggest you get with your compact system.

This large cooler is huge, and you need a spacious case to accommodate it. As I always say, check out the measurements of your PC case beforehand, purchasing any kind of components.

The dark pro 4 comes with two different fans. Here I learned that both of these fans vary slightly in size from one another. One is the 135mm fan you need to install between the heatsinks. While the second one is 120mm, which you will put up on the right side.

Every fan has this speed at which they rotate. Similarly, the fans with the Dark Pro 4 also come up with definite fan speeds. The 135mm one has 1200 RPM while the 120mm one has 1500 RPM.

Inside the box, I could find all the gear one would need to install this beast. Additionally, it also comes with a syringe of thermal paste, two to one splitter, and of course, a specialized Be Quiet! Screwdriver.

Now let’s get into the installation. Guys, I seriously had no issue with the installation process. As for the screwing part, everything worked well. However, there was one thing that actually annoyed the hell out of me. This cooler has this bridge sort of base plate that is annoying to put up.

Like even if you still try your best and put in all your efforts, the bridge will fall off anyway. Like, come on, guys, we aren’t robots, and this sort of accuracy is just exhausting to achieve.

The bridge literally wiggles all the time and slips off as soon as you think you have secured its position. I am hoping that in the future, the manufacturers will fix this bridge into the baseplate so we will have a better time installing this one.

Thanks to its PWM fans, the operation is inaudible and very effective. The design includes fluid dynamic bearings, air-optimized fan blades, and smooth six poles. Each of the components is awesome and cools the system in no time.

It has a copper heat sink and about 7 advanced technology 6 mm copper pipes. It already has about two fans, but you can have another if you want a 100% effective performance.

Now it’s the time for some real testing that is benchmarking. So I tried a CPU benchmark for this, and the Be Quiet Dark Rock Pro 4 was able to keep my CPU at 53 degrees Celsius at 100 fan speed. And for the noise part, this one is literally a dead silent CPU cooler. The fans have zero noise, and I’m pleased about that.

In conclusion, I would suggest this CPU for almost everyone thinking of overclocking their system. Because such systems are already hot, the dark rock pro 4 would work the best here. Now for those systems which aren’t overclocked, I would suggest going for the dark rock 4.

WHY YOU SHOULD CHOOSE THIS CPU COOLER?

Even though this is one of the most expensive picks on my list yet, I will indulge in this one again and again. The main reason for doing so is because it has fantastic durability, dead silent operation, quick cooling power, and a solid screwdriver. However, guys, make sure to be careful with the hardware, as the installation process can sometimes be a bit clumsy.

Cooler Master MasterLiquid

So, the wait is over, and we have the coolest RGB CPU cooler on our list. Again even though RGB doesn’t excite me much, this CPU cooler had this striking RGB that just made me excited to invest in it. So let’s talk about this best AIO cooler for Ryzen 7 in a bit of detail.

In terms of technology, it has this latest third-generation dual chamber pump that I hope would aid in efficient cooling. Also, I think the radiator pump here is a bit extended compared to the previous generation ones, and lastly, the radiator fins are also a bit elongated.

Now let’s talk about this translucent water block this CPU cooler comes with. This clock has this white cover; however, it is stuck with so much RGB that it has even put up a unicorn into shame.

Before purchasing, I learned that this cooler exists in two different sizes. One is 360mm along with a three-fan design. Now the second one is 240mm long with a dual-fan design. There is a black edition of them available too. However, I am planning to build my system with a white theme, so I got a white one.

I would also like to add some important specs about the fans over this CPU cooler. So, the fans here are mf-120 halo fans, and they can push around 47.2 CFM at 1.6mm of H2O while spinning at 1800 RPM. I am hoping the performance will be somehow enough, but I will keep that for the benchmarks.

Additionally, the radiator is 277mm long and 27.2mm thick, with two 350mm thick tubes attached. Guys, the Cooler Master MasterLiquid belongs to the future and has a 3rd generation Dual Chamber Pump.
That is something you might have never heard of in those ordinary CPU coolers. This technology helps to boost the overall cooling efficiency while never compromising a bit on the performance.

Now let’s hop onto benchmarks, so here the cooler master ML240 can deliver a temperature of 51 degrees Celsius, which I guess is somehow better than the Kraken x53 RGB. However, if I explain this cooler in terms of performance, then I think the ML240 has focused on the RGB and dead silent performance rather than the raw performance. Now I don’t think that’s bad because even though it is a fancy CPU cooler, it still outperforms the best.

Apart from this, I really loved the master plus program, which gave me a rough estimate of how long I could push this beast. Also, I like the white build with this one. Many of you who aren’t fond of white PC components might not like the idea of getting this one, but you can always purchase the black one they have.

Noise-wise, this beast over here is literally dead silent like it literally has zero noise. Most of the time, I could hear noises of around 10 or a maximum of 20 dbA. Also, the pump wasn’t making any noise as well.

I am not fond of this cooler because of its weird RGB connectors. Like I would suggest, the manufacturers keep the design simple to not entangle the users into wires and cables. Lastly, I would say that the tubing should have been extra long because for a huge PC case, it would need a CPU cooler with at least 400mm long tubing.

WHY YOU SHOULD CHOOSE THIS CPU COOLER?

Just order this product right now. If you are looking for a robust CPU cooler that is just wonderful for Ryzen 7 and comes at an affordable price, then the Cooler Master MasterLiquid is the one you are looking for. I literally loved the fans, the pump, and the overall design, except I was a bit confused with the extra RGB ports. Also, I am hoping that the tubing will be a bit longer than usual in the future.

So here I am introducing you to the best value cooler for Ryzen because it outperforms the best and still comes at a really affordable price. This is a compact tower and would cost less than $50.

Dimensions wise, it is 157mm tall, 124mm wide, and only 103mm deep. Also, this CPU cooler weighs around 746g which is pretty heavy, I guess. However, the mounting system here is a good one and is secure enough to keep the cooler firm in its place.

Now I have bought this bright red cooler because, guys, I loved those red details on it. However, if you are not a fan of red accents, you can get one with green, white, or yellow accents.

You would see all the mounting gears in the box, including screws, mounting arms, and MX-4 thermal paste. Apart from the red accents, this CPU cooler’s heatsink is all black and comes with around four 6mm heat pipes with a direct contact base.

Coming toward the fan, this cooler has a dual-fan push and pull cooler. I came across this exciting fan design with this one that has 5 blades. Because of this design, I am pretty sure that the cooler will maintain static pressure improvement up to 33%.

Now coming towards the RPM range of these fans. So this one has an RPM range from 0 to 2100 RPM. Further, the fans can stop just below 5% speed. And I guess this would mean the cooler would be dead silent even under low load.

Also, the cooler has no vibration absorption pads. And from this, I can guess that this cooler is actually quiet and would not produce any vibration. But I will leave this part over to the benchmarks.

So let’s get onto the benchmarks here; the system had a temperature of 29 degrees Celsius at idle. Now I tested the system with load performance here; it was 47 degrees Celsius. Also, the noise factor wasn’t a huge issue as well. Mostly it ranged from 35 to 30 dBA, which is not a huge issue over here. Again thanks to the wider blade design here.

So guys, we already know that Noctua doesn’t need any introduction because everyone knows how credible they are for giving out some great CPU coolers. Here let me introduce you to the best-rated CPU cooler for Ryzen7, the Noctua Premium NH-U12A.

This cooler over here has some of the most up to date two NF-A12x25 fans, and because of the performance factor, it does cost a lot of money. If you are planning to purchase, you would have to pay around 100-120 US dollars, which is double or even, in some cases, the price is three times more than a typical CPU cooler.

Regarding compatibility, I learned from the manufacturers that this one is compatible with AM4, LGA 1151, and LGA 2066. Okay, now coming to the physical specs of this one. So it is a 158mm tall CPU cooler, and I guess it would fit into the majority of PC cases.

Okay, now, let’s get to the benchmarks and see whether this cooler can perform up to the mark or not. So at first, I tried the idle temperature test. Here the temperature was 23 degrees Celsius with the Noctua NH-U12A. Also, the noise was 29 dBA, so I would say that this cooler’s fans don’t have that annoying sound.

Next, I ran a temperature test at load here; the temperature was 32.1 degrees Celsius, and the noise was 59 dBA. Also, the fans were running at max RPM, so I guess these fans can get a bit loud at maximum RPM.

All in all, I believe the noise generated here is way lower in pitch and somewhat tolerable. Lastly, I tried normalizing the load temperature at 40dBA; here, the temperature was 34.6 degrees Celsius which is pretty good for a CPU cooler.

Scythe Fuma 2 CPU Air Cooler

Fuma 2 stands out among many CPU coolers because it is silent and compatible at the same time and literally didn’t cost me thousands of dollars. It is one of the best CPU coolers under $60, even though it has some unique fan configurations that I could only find in high-end CPU coolers.

It is a 155mm tall CPU cooler, and even though my PC case is a bit compact still, it was able to fit in it perfectly. Again, like always, I would suggest you all take proper measurements of your PC case beforehand ordering any components. I am in love with the design here; it has these 6 Heatpipe designs that I guess will be robust in dissipating heat in no time.

It has one 25mm fan and a 15 mm fan with a heatsink in a dual tower design having ‎aluminum fins with plain black metal. Additionally, from the spec sheet, I learned ‎that these fans can rotate at 1400 RPMs. ‎

Let’s come towards the package, so it comes with a braided fan splitter cable, magnetic screwdriver, and a tube of a thermal compound that can last you about three uses. It also comes with the mounting and fan brackets included.

Now let’s jump into the installation part, as it comes with all the gears included in the box, so you don’t have to run around to gather the materials. However, I suggest being careful while screwing up the nuts and bolts. The installation itself isn’t much of a hassle. In fact, I would claim that this is the easiest to install. If you aren’t sure how to do that, then you can also rely on the well-written manual that comes along with this CPU cooler, or you can check that on the manufacturer’s official website.

Now, let’s hop onto the benchmarks; while it was idle, the temperature remained 50 degrees Celsius; while gaming, the temperature was 72 degrees Celsius, and under heavy load, it was 78.4 degrees Celsius.

Okay, I also compared the Fuma 2 with Noctua’s NH-U12‎A, and the performance is similar. There is no difference among them except for the high-end price tag you will pay for the Noctua one. So why not save some bucks by getting the Fuma 2 that has the same performance as the high-end CPU coolers but still comes at an affordable price. I am definitely going for this guy!

However, there’s a bummer, guys. Even though this CPU cooler is known to perform the best, I highly doubt that it would be able to work for overclocked systems or not. Primarily because of the compact design, I highly doubt its performance for overclocked systems.

Now for the noise part, guys, this is dead silent, and I couldn’t hear even a single buzz overhear. Not even a humming noise was there with the Fuma 2; now, if I compare then, I would say that the Noctua NH-U12A was not this silent even though it had this audible noise. This beast is definitely going with me to my home!

WHY YOU SHOULD CHOOSE THIS CPU COOLER?

I recommend you only go for this CPU cooler if you have no plans to overclock your system. It doesn’t have even a single issue that I would like to point out like it has this dead silent operation, affordable price and reduces considerable temperature. If you are looking for a premium performance under $60, then Fuma 2 is the only option for you..
