I would like to point out that the most important thing I loved about this motherboard was the advanced memory setup. This motherboard has a DDR5 memory set up, which shows what a premium pick it is.
But guys, I noticed a one-off thing about this motherboard after a brief use: excess power usage.

However, the powerful performance here will not get anywhere the best if that much power isn’t consumed in the first place.

Installation was smooth, and no difficulties were putting this beast into work. Talking about the BIOs, it went smoothly as well, and if there were some minor issues, they also vanished as soon as I updated the BIOS.

In terms of overclocking, the Z690 is a God here. I had it overclocked at 5.1 GHz, and the results were astonishing. I performed mining over this one, played high-end games, and edited videos, but there were no issues while having this motherboard at work.

Next, I was a bit worried about the temperature because I expected it to become hot as it consumes a lot of energy and performs its best simultaneously. However, thanks to its efficient heat dissipation technology, the motherboard remained cool, whether with or without overclocking.

But guys, all glitter is not gold, and just when I swooned over this motherboard, I realised it lacks an important feature. The Z690 lacks a video port, which was not disturbing for many users but for users like me who have to use Adobe Premiere might have to suffer the consequences.

When I turned the BIOS on, I searched the settings for the GPU. Not being able to find that option, I instantly knew that this was not the motherboard that would work the best for using Adobe Premiere. Sold at a premium price, I didn’t expect this blunder to happen here!

One main thing here is that the motherboard is explicitly advertised for overclocking enthusiasts, so there is nothing much to complain about here. But my personal opinion would remain the same, paying this high-end price, the video outputs were a must on the Z690.

Everything about this motherboard was alright except the BIOS, and because of that, I didn’t have a good time while overclocking. But then again, it’s a budget motherboard for Ryzen 9 5900, so I can expect it to happen.

Overclocking here was excellent, proving that this is the motherboard you can get for overclocking if you don’t want to spend on other high-end motherboards. I overclocked the system up to 5 GHz, and the results were mind-blowing!

There was nothing to worry about for the temperature because it always remained stable. Even at an idle state, the temperature was somehow really satisfactory, so I am happy with this motherboard.

Because of the perfectly VRM engineered design, I guess the cooling is efficient. Also, some of the efficient cooling parts are played by the passive cooling design of the X570 motherboard.

The motherboard was also easy to install, which I didn’t expect here. Because often inexpensive motherboards aren’t easy to install because of the cheap built material. However, this was not the case here, and I had a short time while installing this one.

Overclocking is something I would not suggest to be done over this motherboard because, guys, it is a bare motherboard. It delivers incredible performance and works without any issue, but overclocking is not what it is designed for.

And with that said so, the BIOS isn’t a much more reliable feature here. It is very clumsy, and I guess you would have to work really hard to get that BIOS thingy to work here because even after updating, the feature was somehow glitchy.

We kept everything aside and the temperatures remained stable even under heavy load. At idle, the temperature was something 60 degrees Celsius or even less than that, and I guess this is because of the motherboard’s design that can dissipate heat quickly in no time.

I want the manufacturers to fix the built-in WIFI connection, lack of USB C header for the front of the case, and glitch BIOS. As for the price we are paying for this one, it must have every feature.

WHY YOU SHOULD CHOOSE THIS MOTHERBOARD?

I like the ASUS AM4 TUF Gaming X570-Plus. The performance is outclassed at this price and pays off right what you paid for it. However, remember that it doesn’t have a USB fan header, and the BIOS here is messed up. Other than that, it is an excellent motherboard.

It is capable of handling overclocked processors up to 3 GHz. But as it is designed specifically for gaming, I would not prefer overclocking it anyways. The BI(OS here was friendly and had no bugs that usually come with it.

For the temperature part, I wasn’t much impressed because even though I didn’t overclock my system, the temperature remained unstable. Other times I tried to pair an aftermarket cooler with this motherboard, but the temperature drops for me weren’t satisfactory.

While mining, the temperature went very high, but with my Noctua’s CPU cooler, I could get rid of the excess heat in no time.
